The Complete Guide to Playing Roulette at autowin88
Roulette might look intimidating at first — a wheel full of numbered pockets, a betting layout packed with options, and French terminology that sounds unfamiliar. In reality, it's one of the easiest casino games to pick up. autowin88 makes sure your roulette journey starts on solid footing, with a clean interface and clear explanations for every bet type.
The basics of roulette are straightforward: place your chips on your chosen betting area on the table, the dealer spins the wheel and sends a small ball rolling in the opposite direction, and where the ball lands determines the winner. If the number or category you bet on matches the result, you win. It really is that simple.
What makes roulette so compelling is the sheer range of betting options available. At autowin88, you can go conservative with red/black or odd/even bets at 1:1 payout, or push your luck with a straight-up number for a 35:1 return. For Lightning Roulette fans at autowin88, lucky numbers that hit a multiplier can pay out up to 500:1 — turning a modest RM 10 bet into a potential RM 5,000!
Roulette Bet Types & Payouts
🔴 Red / Black Payout 1:1
Bet on whether the ball lands on a red or black slot. The odds are nearly 50-50 (48.6% in European Roulette). This is the most popular bet among new players — easy to understand and it gives you a balanced chance of winning every round.
🔢 Odd / Even Payout 1:1
Bet on whether the winning number will be odd or even. Zero (0) counts as neither, causing both bets to lose — this is the source of the house edge in European Roulette. The Martingale strategy is commonly used with even-money bets like this one.
📊 Low / High (1–18 / 19–36) Payout 1:1
Bet on whether the winning number falls within 1 to 18 (Low) or 19 to 36 (High). Like red/black, this is an even-money bet and offers some of the best odds available across all roulette options.
📋 Dozen (Dozen Bet) Payout 2:1
Choose between the first dozen (1–12), second dozen (13–24) or third dozen (25–36). The 2:1 payout strikes a solid balance between risk and reward, with roughly a 32.4% chance of winning on any given dozen.
➗ Column (Column Bet) Payout 2:1
The roulette table is divided into three columns, each containing 12 numbers. Bet on an entire column and collect at 2:1. It's a popular strategy since you're covering 12 numbers (32.4% chance) with just a single chip.
🎯 Straight Up (Single Number) Payout 35:1
Place your chip directly on any single number from 0 to 36. The odds are just 2.7%, but the 35:1 payout means RM 50 can turn into RM 1,800 in an instant. In Lightning Roulette at autowin88, straight-up numbers that land a multiplier can pay out up to 500:1!
➕ Split (Two Numbers) Payout 17:1
Place your chip on the line between two adjacent numbers to cover both at once. At 5.4% odds with a 17:1 payout, it's a great middle ground between straight-up bets and safer even-money options.
⬛ Street (Three Numbers in a Row) Payout 11:1
Covers three numbers in a single horizontal row (e.g., 1, 2, 3). Offers an 8.1% chance with an 11:1 payout. Along with the corner bet (four numbers, 8:1 payout), this is the most popular inside bet after the straight-up single number.

Popular Numbers in Roulette
Many roulette players — including those at autowin88 — have their own favourite numbers. While statistically every number has an equal chance on every spin, certain numbers have traditionally been considered "lucky" within the Asian roulette community:
7
17
8
23
4
19
0
32
6
36
11
5
Number 17 is often called the "most popular number on the roulette table" due to its position right at the centre of the betting layout, making it easy for players to reach. Even James Bond frequently bet on 17 in the classic films! That said, bear in mind — in a fairly audited game like at autowin88, every number has exactly the same probability on every spin. There are no predictable "patterns".
Players from across Malaysia — Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Seremban, Malacca and beyond — enjoy roulette at autowin88 as one of their favourite ways to spend an exciting evening. Many start their sessions with conservative red/black bets before working up the courage to place a few straight-up numbers. That's a smart approach and one we fully encourage — enjoy the game responsibly.
